Set in the idyllic surroundings of Kamberg Nature Reserve in the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park is the Game Pass Shelter, site of the world's finest rock art. Kamberg Nature reserve is a short drive from Antbear Lodge and is a day out that is very worthwhile. The drive to the reserve is pretty. On arriving there is a short video that explains the bushman and some of the symbolism that you are about to see. You will meet your guide who will take you up to Game Pass Shelter where you can view these very spiritual paintings first hand. The hike is about 7km in each direction and is particularly pretty with waterfalls and wildflowers. There is also a New Rock Art Centre.
